TekVenture Events and Classes
Playing With Plays - All ages and levels of experience are welcome to join us in the Artistic Attic where a choice of witty scripts will have one selected by Director Jeannette Jaquish when she sees who showed up. She will assign roles and we will read thru a section and decide what part to focus on to discuss the characters’ point of view, mood, what they know or do not know and how to physically perform this scene including entrances, exits, interacting and subtle personal gestures.
Saturdays in January and February 2026, 2 to 3:30pm, in the Artistic Attic of TekVenture, 1830 Wayne Trace, Door 8.
FREE. Donations accepted. Snacks provided.

"Sewing for Sweethearts and Wooden You Be Mine?" Valentine Workshop offers projects for all. Bring t-shirts for slice and twist refashioning, or holey jeans to patch with a huge variety of patterned fabric squares upstairs in the Artistic Attic. Wear tank tops and snug shorts under clothes for easy try-ons.
All ages will enjoy making Junk Art from raw wood and sewing scraps and hardware.
Meanwhile downstairs in WoodWorx, a variety of wood projects using the lathe, drills and power saws are offered with safety equipment and a skilled instructor.
You and your sweetheart can also try out for "Who Framed Lucky the Leprechaun?"
