The members of TekVenture collaborate on a variety of projects at the intersection of Science, Technology and the Arts.
Eat, Drink and Celebrate is a collaboration of artist Jim Merz and Sayaka Ganz and a group of volunteers from TekVenture. This 24 foot tall kinetic sculpture is made from recycled plastic dinnerware. The sculpture contains hundreds of hand soldered LEDs, 4 motors and a computer controller. It made it's debut at the Potter's Wife Gallery in Downtown Fort Wayne in February of 2011.
