for Beginner and Intermediate Sculptors

Register & Pay for Class

Sculpt Human Head Class, Weds. 6-9pm, May 28-July 16, TekVenture

If you ever wanted to learn how to sculpt in clay, “Sculpting the Human Head” can teach you much of what you need to know. This course is ideal for young and old alike.

Instructor, Mary Klopfer, will guide you in a step by step process of sculpting a half size human head in water-based clay that will be fired and glazed when done.

Students will learn the basic structure of the skull and its influence on the surface of the face, measuring techniques, and basic anatomy of the face; eyes, nose, lips, ears, etc., resulting in a visually pleasing piece you can display at home.

8 sessions, May 28 - July 16, 2025, Wednesdays, 6pm-9pm.

ClayWorx at TekVenture Makerspace 1830 Wayne Trace, Door 8.
